DINEVENTURE CONCEPT

Mall Attraction Concept & Schematic Design

Over the course of a full year, I worked with a close-knit team of ten other young professionals in the industry from all around the globe to develop a complete story and schematic package working around real-world constraints.

We were given the task of creating a concept to fill a large vacant retail space within a mall in Virginia. Seeing how there were already established brands within the complex with activities and attractions for young families, we took a slightly different route from the other teams and developed an attraction universal to everyone, revolving around food.

This was a great collaborative learning opportunity and I met truly phenomenal friends through the experience. Through weekly educational sessions with industry leaders, routine “client” reviews, and the presentations we led at IAAPA, I believe the Immersive Design Academy program made me a much more well-rounded young professional in the space. Cannot recommend the program enough!
